My wife was one of the people who walked out the door about 30 seconds before Martin Bryant finished his meal. So...yeah. I don't think I'll ever be down with guns.

what a difference 30 seconds can make.. :(

I'm not down with guns at all either.. but everyone has their opinion and their personal interests, plus ILFers aren't the type to abuse those privileges anyway. I just wish everyone else could be as rational.

I go shooting with my dad every now and again, usually rabbits and small game. I'd like to try something that's not a shotgun or .22 rifle but gun laws are getting pretty prohibitive in Ireland at the moment.

I've got a 12 ga. that my brother gave me.
That's my number one.
Every now and then, my brother let's me use his fancy Italian guns.
Lots of fun to be had up here in the Great White North.

Yeah I don't know if its growing up here that has done it, but I have never seen guns as a good thing
This thread has been good though, realising that there are rational people with rational reasons to own guns

yeah I think it's growing up in a country with a negligible history of gun violence, with a vietnam vet dad, that's allowed me to be able to be meh about guns. I'm certainly not begruding other people's opinions about them. Shooting shit is kinda fun haha.

I own more than a few guns.

Including NFA-registered fun stuffs.

One photo sort of says it all. I have many other guns and guitars, but these are mine.
