No Country for Old Men. Totally. Overrated.

I wanted so badly to like that movie, and admittedly enjoy the cinematography and the world that was created/portrayed...but the characters; particularly the female ones...really annoy me by being single-trait, endlessly stupid and predictable; making the worst-possible-decision every step of the way and saying/doing the dumbest shit like clockwork.

It was impossible for me to take seriously, with every scene turning into "how can this dummy screw up worse?" regardless of who was on the screen.

2001: A Space Odyssey is at the top of my disappointing movies list.

I kept waiting for there to be, y'know, dialogue, or action, or character development. I can appreciate the cinematography and pioneering special effects and whatnot, but man was that movie too long and too slow-paced.

My Dad took us all to see it when I was about 5 years old, when there was a re-showing in a Cinema. Honestly, it felt like I was Indoctrinated into some sort of cult watching some sort of brainwashing propaganda film. I have seen it once and can remember every thing that happens in this film


Pacific Rim is a terrible film, the action is cool but needs to cut the story or give it a decent one.

...... i LOVE Dark Knight. they could have cut out/toned down the Two Face shtuff to make it more streamlined, but that's probably my favorite Batmans evah.

i liked dark knight too, aside from how they cranked the grunting.
dark knight rises blew though. & bummer since i like the guy that played bane.

300 is another incredibly fucking stupid movie.
