I got a couple of other descriptions from the builder:

Delolonizer:
Science Amps wrote:The clean channel is similar to a late 60's Marshall Plexi, while the overdrive channel can go from JCM800 levels of gain to real metal territory - something like a Bogner or Soldano.

Mother:
Science Amps wrote:That amp is inspired by the early 70's Hiwatt DR201 with an overdrive circuit built into the front end which is activated when plugged into the "OD" input.

Street Sweeper:

Woah, that sounds awesome. Reminds me of when I first found Verellen back in, like, 2010 or something like that before the prices went up.

I got a Shiv on the way, the 30W el84 offering. I need to sell an amp when it arrives, not sure what yet....

Some super cool features I'm excited about include the footswitchable gain path taking if from the normal channel (beefier AC30 top boost channel) to a full on gain monster, described to me like a JCM running into a souped up AC30 output section. Also like the addition of the absence control to tame the high end esp with fuzz pedals. Lastly the master volume design is unique, varying voltage to the power section to reduce volume while keeping tone and gain character in tact unlike an attenuator that just lets the tubes run harder and dissipates the extra output via heat.

Should be here next week so I can give a full review but I gotta say Alex is one of the nicest guys to deal with, just super all around! I bombarded the guy with questions over the last couple months and he happily answered in full detail along with sending me sound clips and song links that featured the Shiv. Just a super cool guy, would fit right in over here on ILF. And his band Kidcrash rules too. :thumb:

Here's a few cell pics he sent before it shipped out:

Fuuuuuuck that's totally the one I want. How much was it (if I may be ungentlemanly and ask)?
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

$1500 and he had it built and ready to roll in a month's time. He offered a "purchased together" discount price for a matching 2x12 cab too, says he'll extend the offer if I decide to grab one in the future, generous dude. The cabs are cool cuz they have the ability to run open or closed back, think I'm gonna get one eventually. Need funds first.

All his amps range in price from $1500 to $2000, just FYI.
