Texas is just fine. there's just nothing to do outdoors. and lots of people are idiots. and the weather usually sucks. and stevie ray vaughan... it's just fine.

pbs was doing their fundraising drive about a month ago, they were showing a young srv and albert king in a studio jammin out, it was pretty magical.

Yesterday, one of my coworkers asked me if I could learn a song, and then pulled up a YouTube video of SRV playing Little Wing.

I find the idea of Texas interesting, but i have the feeling that if i spent a lot of time there i'd wind up getting beaten, mocked, and/or rejected. i'm afraid i'm just not a Texas kind of guy...i'd fit in there about as well as my Ronaldinho sneakers would fit into a rack of cowboy boots.
