Not too windy yet in DC, although rain has been falling pretty steadily all day. It's supposed to pick up later tonight. I probably should've gone into work (I live five blocks away), but our office was technically closed, soo yeah.

Windy as all hell and raining in here central NJ. When Irene hit we didn't have power for 6 (almost 7) days. It's a little scarier this time since we weren't able to get a generator like last time, so we have to mooch off of our neighbor's generator if the power goes. My girlfriend lives on the 19th floor, 2 blocks from the ocean in Brooklyn, so I'm a little more scared for her than for myself.
Maybe I should be scared for myself, since the entire town was basically underwater and experienced the worst flooding since the early 1960s during Irene
Either way, I'm prepared with booze, books, snacks, and most importantly my Zoom H4 recorder, a headphone amplifier, and a stack of 9volts for my pedz

Just got home from work. Windy as fuck, throwing the car, debris everywhere, but we made it home okay!
No pedals, but I do have that Tiesco guitar that is my in-laws down stairs
