I totally saw this policy coming. I've been a mod for long enough elsewhere to understand the ILF Wild West policy has been very special. At times I've rolled eyes and laughed in disbelief wondering how did that fucktard survive saying THAT?

I guess it all started with the good old Spacey, perhaps. Not that it matters.

As much as I've enjoyed the comedy of the childish outbursts and shit, it can't go on. I'm not saying mods haven't done their best. They have done it very different from the rest of the forums I've been on, and a It must have been hard to decide when to step in, when people expect that You don't, but You know You might have to and it would be easier and more effective to interfere early.

The insensitive comments and the friendly finger - they are like glue between good friends that know their limits and can push it. But people have accepted as a rule that they can do just about what ever without ever having to deal with mods unless they scam the good people of B/S/T thread or bullshit on the builders. NO, You can't expect that You can give the finger to just anybody. And You can't judge by builder status or post count only, You just have to hang around long enough to get to know the people.

If this was by bands forum, I'd say some things differently and DEEP FRY haf a dozen or so user accounts this instant. I'd have second to none tolerance with many people that might be totally acceptable dudes if they stopped shitting around. But luckily I'm NOT a mod, and luckily THIS IS NOT my bands forum and people have a chance to proove themselves and chill the fuck out.

seriously. the only time i've ever seen the whole blocking system used, no one liked it, and it was only used by thin skinned folks who can't take criticism worth jack. and personally i'd like to think that even though we disagree sometimes, most of us are big enough to just keep those issues about those issues and not bring them up whenever the other person happens to show up.

And again I say that being thick-skinned is not a requirement of being a member of this board. But I can't help but think back to reading a post by one member,a response by another. Then the OP said something to the effect of,"this is something I really have an issue with. Serious answers/posts only". And the other poster apologized,wished the OP well,and that was that. Again,MAIN rule of ILF: DON'T BE A DICK This is Tom's policy. And I think most everyone is in agreement. Although,another forum had a flame-a-user sub. That might be worth looking into for some of y'all belligerent murrrfuckaz. I'd be all for it,provided that Wotan was allowed to be the special moderator.
