Who picks up trees that are falling down?

I live far away from hurricane lands and we have windy nights followed by downed trees all the time. You don't try to put it back, you chop it up and burn the fucker.

Not trying to be a dick, Caeser. I'm glad you didn't get a hernia, those suck(or so I hear). This whole hurricane thing has got me on another "the rest of the world is full of wusses who actually find the weather interesting" kick.

My mom said she saw a few power lines hanging way too low to be safe and me and my girlfriend went for a walk around town and saw someone's car completely crushed by a tree and a tree was leaning over a friend of mines car being held up by power lines but he got his car outta there before anything went down. Glad to here nothing serious happened to anyway here.

college park, md got hammered by wind and rain and has subsequently been out of power, or at least full power, since 10 pm saturday night. interestingly enough, i make the 35 minute drive west to come home and the power here didn't even flicker

Trees cost $$$, and the effort to strip it and chop it up was probably equal to the task of righting it. In the end, I still have a tree.

I still have no power at my house, and have been told not to even bother calling national grid again until the weekend. a huge tree took out the power lines at the bottom of my street. So I packed up the wife and kids and went up to my parents' house in MA. Shit sucks yo.
