Finished Season 1 and 2 of Breaking Bad over my winter break. Fucking great show, which you always hear, so about time I started to catch up.

Anyone watched Portlandia?

Just started watching the first episode. I don't know if I can handle this. It hurts too much. Inside.

The thing is, I have had conversations with people that go like the sketches in this show... And I eventually have to say 'Stop for a second. I just need to ask you something. I promise I won't be angry or anything. Just please answer me honestly. Are you fucking with me?'

And no. The answer is no. And then I walk away.

Been watching Season 2 too, as they pop up on Hulu in advance. Season 1 was very good. CB is one of my top 5 celebrity crushes.

Being Human actually looks promising.

"There's someone in the house, should I call the cops?"
"You're a werewolf."
"Yeah, occasionally."
"What a useless condition."

(The werewolf transformation effect is terrible though)

Aimee...Aimee...Aimeee...Don't you just hate Suzanne Vega? I am loving Portlandia.

There's new importance for Netflix for me, on account of I canceled cable a year ago but they didn't actually cut my signal until this weekend. I caught up with alot of stuff I had been gathering and all I had to do was setup iCarly and Spongebob for the kids.

This weekend I watched Cheers, Kick-Ass, a documentary called "The Story of 1" which is about the digit's history, Black Snake Moan (awesome), Comedians of Comedy at the El Rey, Hobo with a Shotgun, Benny Hill, Terriers, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Last Tango in Paris, Conan O'Brien Can't Stop, and the Story of World Class Championship Wrestling and the Von Erichs. Five of those boys died before reaching age 30, three by suicide. What the fuck?

Anyway, I'm not missing cable at all.

Finished Being Human (US). Got pretty hooked on it, so I figured I'd give the British version a go while I'm waiting for the next US season to start. I thought the US version had pretty low production... But the British one... I have friends that shoot better quality video than this...

Out of curiosity, what kind of internet speed do you need to stream happily? I usually get 150-200kb/s download speeds - will that be enough to get by, or am I out of luck on it? :idk:

With Netflix I don't know anybody that has a problem. It automatically adjusts video quality somewhat to correspond with your internet speed.
