What was that about binary relationships and ridiculous assumptions again?
Do not assume the you can't get electrocuted if you try and have a relationship with a binary droid.

the "point (made) about privacy" is that nobody should keep secrets, and that "when they're shared etc." this is exactly what you'd expect from doctrinaire Leftists: there are no secrets from the People's Dictatorship. FYI, "progressive" churches of the Christian religion include most notably the United Church of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church, and the social stands of most "mainstream" Protestant denominations such as the Methodists and Lutherans are quite far to the Left. but given your general style of argument, i wouldn't expect you to actually know anything about that, any more than i expect that, unlike me, you've actually had any exposure to "abuse prevention" types. now give us five posts of querulous nonsense, won't you?

BULLSHIT. allowing your five-year-old to set family policy on disclosure of your infant child's sex based on his reading
Free To Be You And Me is, at the LEAST, open to criticism. allowing a five-year-old to set family policy on ANYTHING is IMO an abdication of parental responsibility. saying that the only metric "we" can use is attention paid is more of the PC all-people-and-their-cultures-and-ideas-are-equally-valid-and-effective shit that's destroying Western culture. ENOUGH. WE'RE ALLOWED TO MAKE JUDGEMENTS, WHETHER IT'S CONVENIENT TO YOUR IDEOLOGY OR NOT.

got a culture you'd prefer to it? want to live under Shia Islam? the Hindu fundamentalists in India? the Chinese quasi-Communists? think you could cut it as an Amazonian native? or get on with the civil wars in the Congo? or do you think you're going to build a Brave New World on the ashes of the old, like every dumbass revolutionary since Rousseau?

Apparently not.
Dubkitty, there's really no need for ALL CAPS. My major argument is we dont know these people at all, so judgement is completely irrelevant. You are, in fact, passing judgement on a newspaper article.

I would like to say... in the end.... who fucking cares? We [you guys cuz I don't give a flying fuck about these people] are just sitting here passing judgement over people we have never met. lame.

more like it's the opposite shit that's destroying other cultures.
but that's just my personal judgment, which is probably inconvenient to your ideology.

it's called emphasis, and ALL CAPS is quicker than having to go to the Full Editor and choose
bold,
italic, or
underline. nor is there a need, for about the fourth time in this thread, to use policing how i post as a substitute for addressing what i say. also, ALL CAPS is traditionally considered the equivalent of shouting, which was the precise thing i was trying to convey.

other peoples' cultures are on their own, and can do whatever they want in their own sphere. my concern is other peoples' shit fucking up MY culture.

problem is, cultural blending only fucks up the cultures if there is resistence on one end of it.
the idea that cultures disappear is only true in situations with a MASSIVELY domineering presence, which we completely lack in the modern world.
