Also, went to a party on 420 involving a lot of pot (NOTE THE RHYME). Guess what I did?

Stayed sober and ate free french toast.

for most purposes drug just means 'psychoactive drug.'

It's not a bullshit argument. Chemicals in food alter your mind and mood. As do caffeine and all that bullshit in energy drinks. Certain foods trigger serotonin production in the human body, and that's definitely a serious, impactful drug. Some people are more affected by food chemistry than others, but it's definitely a drug interaction.

Now, if you want to narrowly define "drugs" as illegal chemicals that alter your mind, well okay. That's a terribly short-sighted definition, but a lot of people see it that way.
