Dude I'm NOT defending the guy... I'm shocked that A he did this and B that it happened to an ILF member by another iLF member... I think I'm hoping this is some joke because it makes no sense but clearly this is really happening so I apologize for (wishing) alluding to the fact this might be some lame gag elban would be pulling....

What can I say? Unless elban comes around and fixes how he wronged you, I have to consider him over....

I tried to get elban to make a guitar body for me a couple of months ago, but the negotiations dropped off for no reason. I asked to start using email, and he never emailed me. Whatev, I'm kinda happy I didn't now. I also remember him starting a thread in b/s/t, to try and make funds because he was going to have a kid? Was that legit? Anyways, trying to get money for diapers can drive a man to do some pretty low down stuff it seems.

Unfortunately, it's a digital effect, so in many cases the original builder is the only one that can fix it unless he shared the code and whatever else.

its almost all SMD, not worth servicing. dont expect the manufacturer to do anything. the company is just one man that retired a few years ago. he is like 85 years old know I think.

SMDs are totally serviceable by someone that knows how to work with them.

There's tutorials all over the web about how to solder them even with cheap equipment.

Well,I've never done anything with building,circuit bending or moding,but would like to learn one day,would I need a lot of stuff? Where do I go to find out how? And by the way,if anyone knows how and would like to take a shot at it,someone with experience,I have no problem letting them try it out Hell the thing is fucked anyway,of someone could fix it then great!

Guys, I feel bad for all this.

BUT, like I've said, many times now, I think Elban should be give a chance to defend himself before this thing turns all into ptchforks and torxches. You know, ranting and agitating the Mob doesn't help. There's quite a few of peeps involved, and those who know Elban from past years have given him weeks and weeks already, because he has proven, in the past, that trustworthy. fo realz

Also, those of us who know him from the past, know that he's been around and he's been incommunicando due - for example - simply not having time of his own from his chores, executing the new family man duties and everything. That's what he has told. And to me it seems pretty obvious all the shit has been a strain. SO: giving him a fair chance to take a stand means we can't expect anything happening sooner than overnight?

...and if the worst case scenario comes true, that's one fucking huge disappointment and tsunami shit storms ahead.
