I see alot of books in this thread being mentioned by multiple people....any I should check out?..

If you haven't read it already "1984" by George Orwell or "Animal Farm" also by George Orwell, I also really liked (this is more recent) "Unwind" by Neil Shoosterman, it's ana mazing book, it was banned in most schools, but not mine.

Just finished Sundiver, by David Brin. Also, part of two book clubs. One that is following a Yale literature course's reading list (Current book is Black Boy by Richard Wright), and the other which is devoted entirely to classic literature (Next book hasn't been decided yet).

Anyone read Patriotism by Mishima? I think that may be my favourite short story.

Been after this for a while. Finally tracked one down and am trying to find the necessary hours to read it --- not much of a physiologist or a zoo/botanist so I'm playing catch up with a lot of the anatomy, but it's very very cool.

Dragon Ball manga. It's a guilty pleasure of mine.
Hamlet. Never read it before. :idk:
Also, about to read The Day of the Jackal. I just watched the old movie version of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9OM4L2FT_A. I still like the Bruce Willis version a lot, though.
