Leave it to the good ole USPS to break stuff around the holidays.
These seem to be selling well - do you plan to keep on making them?
Anyways - here is mine #001 bitches.

Yep, this board got my vote over at HCFX!
Also, glad those 3 first posts in a row were just lurkers, and not a result of a shakedown. We all know Earthquaker is backed by the mob.

Right on - thanks for the vote
And you are definitely right about the mob. The German families run deep in Ohio

Anyone put one of these next to an El Capistan to compare?

I compared it to the El Capistan and kept the Ghost Disaster. I think they sound completely different. The GD is more straightforward and fat sounding delay. It sounds more like an analog delay than a tape delay. The individual switches for the reverb and delay are much needed (by me).
The El Capistan get wobbly fast, and it also sounds a bit thinner in the delay repeats. I think the reverb was a bit smoother and sounded a bit more like spring reverb. The GD reverb can be a tad bright sometimes, but is much more flexible.
They both have their uses and sound very different. I wish I could have kept both.

I've got a first generation Disaster Transport and just ordered an El Capistan. The Ghost Disaster looks pretty interesting even though I have fantastic reverb on my amp (Juke Coda).

the el cap and the ghost disaster are very different. i would say the ghost disaster is much closer to my deluxe memory man as far as how the delay sounds but the repeats go way longer on the disaster!
the el cap is a crazy tape machine simulator. i really like my el cap but its got a lot going on. it has a bit of a learning curve but its pretty damn cool!

Are any more of these going to be available at Tone Factor any time soon?
I needs to get one ASAP to go along with my Dirt Transmitter & Hoof.
Or if you are looking to sell one please PM me.

Quick question to anyone who can answer, how is the Ghost Disaster on bass?
as compared with other reverbs and other delays, with which most bass players probably don't bother.
I think I want one but there ain't no bass demos out there!
