I got a Y-splitter, so one clean signal went into the Caracol's main source input, and then the other signal went through a second pedal, which went into the Caracol's carrier input. It's a pretty brilliant setup. Also, it should be noted that I didn't play with the Caracol's settings that much - I think you could get an even WIDER range of sounds by experimenting with the focus & intensity knobs on the Caracol. I did that a little, but not much since I knew I wanted to try so many other pedals through it.
