^ Thanks, man. Yeah - no need to dismantle yours. Just figured you might have a pic lying around. Looks awesome.

Definitely pick up and/or borrow a second cab and run them in stereo first.fatfreddyscat wrote:

Hypnodrone wrote:Amp: KELLY 50 watt British tube amp from 1969. 2 channels, treble and bass, common tremolo. Autistically handwired by Selmer dropouts, it's got the neatest gut's Ive ever seen. Cathodyne phase inverter, agressive crunchy attack when cranked, huge trafos, mahoosive bottom end and insanely loud. Sound is very similar to the old Oranges (and surprisingly nothing like Selmer at all).
It used to have Fanes, but they are long gone. Replaced with Eminence Private Jacks and it's a good match.
Cab is a 1973 Marshall with original G12M25 speakers. Logo and cloth not original.

The Decolonizer is based on a modded Marshall architecture and the Mother is based on a mix of Matamp and Hiwatt designs. I think they have their own voices compared to those influences though.samzadgan wrote:D.o.S. wrote:Damn.
those science amps look sick as hell.
on that subject...how are Science amps voiced? are they completely their own thing or are they based on some traditional amp sound??
beautiful setup. have you tried the Mother with bass? thoughts?whoismarykelly wrote:New bass cab to go with the Mother
Yep. I primarily use it as a bass amp. It sounds fantastic and the drive channel on it has an almost guitar-like smoothness even with bass. You would never need any bass dirt with all the flexibility built into the Mother which is my favorite thing about it.tjlong wrote:beautiful setup. have you tried the Mother with bass? thoughts?whoismarykelly wrote:New bass cab to go with the Mother
