finally got the board put together, right side and left, both work separate and sound killer together.

oh, and I'm pretty sure the cheap right-angle jacks you're looking for are the hosa 3" pancake ended right angled connectors. They are awesome.

yeah they are hosa patch cables

GLS sells them on amazon as well

I always wanted a wolf computer deluxe so I contacted Eric earlier this year about making one in a small box. But I wanted more control over the boost so I asked if he could stick one of the old style high five pluses in there instead of the typical pre boost. So he did. And it can even be battery powered!
