I think there's maybe a 1 in 100 chance that we eventually get a "You know, being President is actually really hard. Maybe I didn't really know how hard it was going to be, but I tried my best to do a great job" and that's probably a really generous estimate on odds there. Even if it did pay out, you can bet there would be some kind of modifier like "...but you know, I could have been great, but they did their best to keep me from doing everything I wanted to" or "but I still did better than pretty much any President since Lincoln, probably". I can't imagine him being even slightly self aware and humbled without a really intense backlash of pushing blame elsewhere or a tremendous, incomprehensible flare of ego.
