hurm. would any of y'all try bi-amping with a bass/guitar/drums combo? only make sense with no guitars and trying to fill all that space? i've always run one signal path but i'm kinda curious about the Double Ups.
I'd definitely try it if you have the means to do it. Especially with your collection of pedals you can easily make 2 crazy paths to open up all sorts of possibilities. Or you can use it as an alternative clean blend, a clean path and a fucked up path.
You didn't sell the Frantabit did you?

I will not ever go back to one signal. I love the fullness of it I have one amp that is run either clean or a dark boost to well...make it dark, and my second amp I run everything else through. oh yeah and Filters on the "clean amp". I have a bass comming to me that I am going to wire in Stereo for even more 2 amp fun.

hurm. noiiiice.
so, do you keep each about the same level volume wise? if i was playing a show with FOH would 2x12's for the clean and 2x12's for the effectd be enough? do you put each channel on a different side of the room or could i still stack them the way i have them now?
i'm a gidget about bi-amping.

New setup that I'll be keeping for awhile while I try a new project with a drummer friend.
Guitar - BilT (powers onboard effects for one of my guitars) - Jerms TS - Jerms Rat - Jerms Fuzzrite - Jerms Triangle Muff (enough jerms eh?) - Rick Holt Phaser and Delay double pedal with Ron Hextall - Tuner - Morning Dew - Strymon Orbit - Dr. Scientist Tremolessence - Strymon Timeline - Eventide Space - Amps = Silverface Twin Reverb (right) and Diabolical Amplification LFO-17 (left w/ Ampeg B25B Cab)

I stack my amps and it seems to work fine.
I do like 60%-70% "clean amp" and the rest Dirty it really subjective though and changes drastically with the room. Try it out and mess with different volumes. My Dirty amp does not need much power to keep up with my clean amp since its mostly mids and highs.

Dude that DS-1 kicks ass!
It took replacing almost all the parts in it and taking out a diode but it sounds Rad like Lemmy Rad.

durp. meant "show's with SHIT FOH".
getting some foods and gonna go home to play with them amps. kinda moist.
ot - fuckers in the amps section just came back with pedantic after pedantic description of what bi-amping REALLY meant. after i said oops, wrong phrase. i get the whole Bitch About TB thread more and more anytime i venture out of Efx. blegh.
so, does one amp being clean and all the efx that still sound good with bass (all the stuff i gots on my board right now i guess), then 2nd amp being all the wackier, low ending cutting stuff? or 1 clean 1 dirty/madness a better way to go?
avoiding unintentional phasing? GOOD.
also, Derilectical Reticle has the SICK shitz.

I would just keep moving pedals around. I can use some wacky shit like pitch shifting, ringmods and crazy chorus, stuff that would not be very usable in a band setting with bass and I still have a fat bassy sound.

Nice board! The tail end looks almost identical to mine. The Dr. S Trem > Timeline > Space is one of the greatest combos I've ever heard. Some option overload but I'm trudging through!
