Every time some dope on my team orders a pizza for group lunch, it's whatever serves as "good" from Pizza Hut, PJohn's or wherever and I start to wonder if anyone under age 35 around here have actually had even DECENT pizza in their entire lives. Whatever is in the box usually just looks like a cartoon pizza and tastes like salty ketchup.

All crust should be injected with cheese...I want goat cheese stuffed crust....expensive stinky grey cheese surprise 50 bucks a slice...the option to have gummy bears and peaches on my pizza America, I'm talking about stinky cheese gummy bear peach pizza with too much sauce on barely cooked expensive dough and all stringy on the first slice America where are my options America.

As time progresses, so does the technology behind vegan cheeses. Its the single factor holding it back from indistinguishable taste difference/experience. That being said, I do enjoy a good vegan pie-I think daiya makes it taste like macaroni and cheese pizza
Apparently the hot vegan spot here (Blackbird) switched from daiya to violife so further research is in order.

That postmodern pizza shit can take it on the arches. "French pizza" is also a violation of the geneva convention and serving it is like presenting someone with a declaration of war.
The only enjoyable vegan food is a spread of ingredients not attempting to emulate non-vegan food. For example: chips & salsa with guac is a top-tier snack. Soon as you attempt to add "not-cheese" or "ground beef alternative" to make *cheesy beefish nachos* does it become revolting. The compromise to use vegetarian chili and concede to using real cheese for the "melt" or nothing.
