Umm, had a good flow going, then I remembered I am supposed to be working. There was a miku in there somewhere, but I think I overloaded it or something and swapped it for those silver things. Actual cords are in the mail though. Trying to do everything with 6" length is difficult.

Do I get to type TWSS or do I leave it for Chank?

you know you have too much shit lying around when you use a drone thing to hold the mic in place ...
I had to edit the last post, well, cause it was just a stupid not-even traffic ticket. Anyway, got lucky. Ha, want a tube reverb?

The drone thing: keepin' it real and helping out. Cheaper than hiring an understudy?

It is a neat, all-in-one box but dang that is a lot of outputs (kind of something I really have to plan around). The droner is awesomely simple and the theremins are weird with their interplay (they work more like ribbon controller).

Thanks, man. Your setup is pretty freakin' awesome and probably more versitile though. I don't know where I am going yet. haha

I've been kinda looking over everything and seeing what kinda never "fit" with me. Still looking at everything.

The only recordings I have are probably at least 6 years old and the noise/drone stuff is probably close to 10 years old (if I can even find it). I just got back into this stuff when I was selling off my old stuff (eh, 6-7 months ago); I got sucked back in and still haven't got out my recording stuff (which I last used to put old punk records on my computer...'cause it's all about doing things the hard way). I hadn't even looked at my guitar for 5 years. I guess the drone comp/demo-requests has motivated me to do something other than dick around with the gear.

The GB24 is from chuckjaywalk...I have a CT5 too (haven't even really messed with it) :idk:

Forgot how great the "record skipping glitches" you can get with the PS-3 are...

That's great, is it really only the PS-3, with synths?

The loop playing on the Ditto was captured from the PS-3... I'm playing some other shit overtop of it, using the Procession and Digitech XP-100 (detune mode)... Oh and that's all guitar (Fender Jaguar)...

Oh, cool, thanks, crazy, which mode on the PS-3 does that, do you play swells too?
I always thought it was similar to the GB24 / CT5 from clips but I might be wrong there.

All of the straight delay modes do it, I used the longest... max the "repeats" - it goes almost into self-oscillatiom but stops just short so it functions like a simple looper - and when you move the "delay time" knob, instead of changing the pitch to emulate an analogue delay, it seems to just try to compress whatever is in the delay buffer. Artifacts galore!

It helps to have an actual looper, though, to capture "the good parts". Also, the successive repeats do decrease in volume - the trade-off for not self-oscillating.

Thanks, UC!

Oh, cool, that description actually reminds me of my DD-5 when I turn the feedback way up. :D
