Cool, thanks, D! It is excessive, sure. :) However, I got to a point where it became valuable to have separate setups for separate projects. I would play with the same board all the time and get totally frustrated trying to recreate particular settings among several bands... Gear whore? Sure. Tone whore? Yep. :thumb:

If you were a real tone whore, you'd have 'em all on one board.

Would smack about for a few hours/days/decades. I always wanted a Geiger to use with other stuff :(

Thanks bros! It took me a long time to get to this point. There are still a few other things that I NEEEEED (Timeline, Goatkeeper, that PLL clone, Cosmichorus, and a few more fuzzies I want to try (TAFM, Gnomie, Doomidrive, one of those Egyptian Muffs, etc)! I will probably end up getting a PTjr and do the modular thing some of you guys are doing. That way I won't have to lug around everything if I don't need it. Then it's off to find a new guitar, a nicer amp, a synth or two, some studio gear, OMG I'm never going to be able to buy everything at this rate!

Officer Bukowski wrote:But where's your El Cap? I thought you were a fellow El Cap lover. Not that there's anything wrong with the Brig.

Also what kind of IC Muff do you have? I'm currently building one. I'm pretty excited about it.

The El Cap you say? I'll have to take a picture when I get home from work to show you what she's been up to lately. And the ICBM is one that I built too. I've got a couple more boards that I'm thinking about modding to make them even more BRUUUUTAAAAALLLL!!!!

Loveclone Meatball (w/Moog exp) -> tuner -> Whetstone -> Moog Ring Mod -> Geiger Counter -> BYOC Rat -> King of Tone clone -> Brig -> Space

I have a few dirt pedals sitting on the cab for quick swapping depending on mood. Timmy can be subbed in for the Rat, and OpAmp Muff, WIIO, or Sound Shank in the place of the KOT.

how did i not see this?

I can only compare the 999pro to the 999; the Pro is darker, soupier, with less of a (perceived) volume boost. Haven't tried the 900.

For those of you who were worried, this is what happened to the Cappy......

Image

It is my way of hyping her up so I can get a Timeline. She loves the El Cap so much that I teased her, and said "now that the Cap is on your board I guess I'll just have to get that Timeline after all." Plus it goes better with her monochromatic theme than the Brig did.

Here's how it goes:
Fender Blender -> SHOCD (built it as an anniversary present for her) -> El Cap -> VPjr -> M9
She'll either run her tele or CP70 through that junk. Every once in a while she'll try to sneak the ICBM in the blank space to the left when I'm not paying attention.
