I'm replying from my phone, which is a real nuisance, so I'll keep it brief. I just noticed how many mistakes were in that post of mine you quoted AngryGoldfish and it makes me cringe, as well as reaffirm my hate for my iPad.
Thanks to everyone who cleared up that recto stuff. Also sounds like a bummer on the 2ch wizard, I like using cleans from time to time.
Semaphore hey...very interesting.

congratz on the semaphore! let me know how you like it compared to the GK (that was you wasn't it?)
On the topic of the SG classic with the horribly average action: i've adjusted the truss rod and bridge and everything, from trying the standard Gibson values on their website to just going by feel -
basically CAN'T get it as low as I want it (and all i'm asking is lower than my old shit guitar from the 80's that i haven't even adjusted) - without getting a buzz that kills the note too early/kills sustain. certain spots don't allow the note to ring at all.
I was like a month too late to buy a Gibson SG standard with P90's, somehow they all dropped them around february or something. the best price i could find was 900€
on the topic of PLEK machines - this one is supposed to have been PLEK'd, which I made sure it had been before i bought it. Thinking of taking it to some dudes around the corner for a real PLEK-job, but that'll cost me 300$..
What do you tune to man? I really want an SG, but if they're that much of a bitch with low tunings, that's a deal breaker. And that sounds like way too much money to drop. $300, yowza.

I was just thinking Bucket Handle would be a good band name and then I sobered up and thought no, no it would not. Everyone would expect a fucking Coal Chamber-alike. Bukkett Hañdell

So latest drummer drama went down and ended with "Why don't you just take your shit and go"
I'm just not down with talking about feelings, raised voices, lame excuses etc.
Back to the drawing board. Zak left today and we miss him allready. I don't think we ever had a single argument while he was in the band. Just had fun and made music.
I may hang the ILF rules over the jam room door.

If Bucket Handle ever writes a song called Starfish Dick it's going to be 4 minutes of syncopated open drop D power chords and we're gonna be so fucking popular in 1997

Dude, that sucks, you aren't having much luck by the sound of it.
They are good rules. No starfish cock should be a fucking commandment.
Also, Big Handler sounds like a cool name to me...or a pseudonym for a sex offender, either way.
