What king of wrhbs are in the other jazzy?
funny you should ask they are WRHB in a Jazzmaster size from Curtis Novak. I had built that up for a Guy who just swapped them out for p-90's. I put them in mine and just swapped them out to put Antiquity I's in so I have a direct backup to the Black JM-1 in my arsenal. I Just put them up for sale on http://www.offsetguitars.comskullservant wrote:What king of wrhbs are in the other jazzy?

Back at you.. THat is my main ax over everything, but the Tele is sick too. I built all the guitars Except the Jr which I resoterd its a 59.. just sold it but I had to post OH
I was thinking that too! Definitely not a bad thing in my book!DarkAxel wrote:Is it just me or does it look a lot like Nels Cline's jazzmaster?
No its not you.. I was doing it black and as I was relic ing it I was listening to Watt and a bunch of Wilco..and started up conversations with woody... He had sent me a bunch of private shots of Nels' guitar and one thing lead to another so I decided to tribute Nels with this. I went deep but have sine made it mine only the body and the Mastery (which is on every offest i own) remain as a nels thing although it has duncan antiquities which he uses. I use Flat 11's he uses rounds.. He can play like a godlike banshee I cannot ROFL...DarkAxel wrote:Is it just me or does it look a lot like Nels Cline's jazzmaster?
I've never been a huge Wilco fan, but Nels is such a friendly guy, I can't imagine anyone not liking him. Awesome you built him something too!aegert wrote:No its not you.. So yes it is like a Nels' guitar.. I jsut built a pedal for him and am giving it to him on the 15th when he plays with a few of my friends in NYC...
How about Nels with Mike Watt? I know there are many who don't get Wilco. I fall on the side of Jeff Tweedy being one of the greatest living American song writers. I listen to Reverb Psychedelic, classic Rock, Bluegrass, Opera EVERYTHING... I am typically not into pop or things that EVERYONE gets faddy about. Jeff's ability to write prose and poetry with music that goes every which way is ultra refresshing... Paired that with a virtioso Guitar, Keys, Drums, Solid bass, full range instrumentals and tight tight vocal support He has the freedom to be a singer songwriter without bounds... THey are a joy...Helter wrote: I've never been a huge Wilco fan, but Nels is such a friendly guy, I can't imagine anyone not liking him. Awesome you built him something too!
