Many pages back someone asked for Power Skeleton links. Be advised that the recordings are nothing at all like the live stuff.

https://soundcloud.com/power-skeleton

The live stuff rarely sounds similar to the other live stuff. It's a mixed bag. Sometimes it goes places, and sometimes they ride one flavor the whole way through.

Certainly the most unique band in Seattle and the only band you could call 'noise rock' that features ACTUAL NOISE

Congrats, mate! You might not have been keen on the idea at first, but it could be cool.

Thanks Danny.

Yeah, I got the V4 while waiting on my Dunwich build, snagged it from a local guy with a huge Ampeg collection. Mine was his backup for years and after nagging him forever he decided to let it go. He only asked $450 because he's a friend of the family plus it had never been recapped or retubed. That deal too good to be true and I couldn't help but hit it even thought the Dunwich was coming in soon.

It's so loud tho I rarely play it. Thinking about trading it back to the same guy for a pristine V2. Those are much harder to find in my experience and his is cleaner than my V4, pretty much the perfect V2. Now to make it happen. It's been tough convincing him he want's to do this trade but he always uses the V4s, never the V2s. Just sitting there longing for some attention....

Well, good luck with that. :p

I bought all the Kongh albums on bandcamp the other day. I haven't had a change to really dissect them, but so far I really like them. Shadows of the Shapeless might be my favourite from a glance.

I know I'm chiming in late and a little light, but I don't know how I got the impression totimoshi were Japanese, I guess I just made a huge assumption based on their name (making an ass of me) but the clip I watched had a Japanese rock kinda feel to it. Don't explain it. Defo cool though. Sounds like mark of Cain (Australian band, for those not in the know) a little.

Also, tells are cool, wish I owned a fender. Makes me want to assemble the box of parts that was my ibanez strat...
And dream dunwich...is it sacrilege to say I'd like a 2 channel wizard with a clean channel and the option to blend the fuzz tones with a tighter slo style distotrtion....on kt88s?

All I can say is that KT88s have this distinct bottom end BOOM that sounds really awesome, other than that I don't hear/feel that much of a difference between em and 6550s

Well I've had el34s in the past, and I like em, prefer el34bs though, and my current amp is a 6l6 (I've had a couple of those) but yeah, those kt sounds are pretty sweet, as ridingeternity mentioned. Plus I like pikes hof set up with the slo slaving the Kerry king marshall. Also wondering if tube rectifcaction is worth it...

high power and tube rectification usually dont jive. Has to do with power requirements on the recto.

Ah cool, cheers man. I had heard in the past that it's isn't necessary and stuff like that, but if it's more of practicality of build point of view type thang, that makes much more sense.
So one day, when I have money, I'm gonna hit you up about an amp like that.
