I don't like when I come down from drinking or smoking. I need to do such activities and the go to sleep before sobering up. Things feel... dull. & weird.

When I go to sleep after smoking I have very strange and uncomfortable dreams. and my dreams are already pretty weird. It's the thing I like the least about smoking

Eh, drinking isn't as fun as smoking and the comedown's worse
I always feel super lethargic after drinking, plus that pesky hangover aspect kinda blows. Feels like I just waste time while drunk, but with weed I'm down for anything productive or creative. As long as there aren't too many details in the ceiling to stare at.
Or too many crows in the yard. 'Cause they're kinda all just looking at me.

I went down to the Gitbox store and tried a bunch of pedlols that you guys seems to like and, um, hated them all... I liked the cheaper stuff I tried better...

That's good though! You save the money. I think there's definitely a placebo effects sometimes. But idk. There's pedals here that a lot of people love that I didn't like really or thought were special.
What in particular did you play?

but i feel like 90% of the guitars we sell at the guitar store i work at part-time are pretty much shit

I mean... I always start with playing acoustically to hear how the guitar sounds like on its own. And also to have the clearest grasp of how does it feel to play it without being overwhelmed by loudness and distortion

with that being said, I don't feel practically anything towards most of the guitars I picked up there and they mostly sounded like shit to me

I'm really, really, really shitty at guitar, but I've spent too much time and money on it to quit now. I overcompensate for my lack of talent or skill with power chords and massive amounts of fuzz. I just lack any sort of musical talent, at all. I just get along really well with musician types.
