I like him too, just can't deal with the meandering.

I love his Gristlelizer demo just because he's hilariously baffled at trying to explain the effect.

Yeah I like JustNick as well, but I usually watch the first 3 minutes of his video to get the sound of the pedal, then jump 12 more minutes in to the point where he starts talking about it.

Dude I just looked elsewhere and you referred to his 'melted, bootleg Stallone face.' Jeeeezus, that's funny, but...did Nick stomp your puppy or something?

Lol

Sorry for the thread derail, y'all. I'll refrain from links as I don't want to go into a lame witch hunt. Plus I do feel like a dick myself for harping on about it (and that melted Stallone face comment did go too far). I'll just say that I also used to like his videos and some of his "positive" messages too, but found some of his passive aggressive behavior elsewhere to be a stark contrast to his youtube persona. That's all and I'll stfu about it now.
Now how about that Tensor!

(Love that gif,though Invisible)

Pick any two words.
Name your band.
Profit.
Lemme help you with that. Not shaming you--just thought is was funny.

Red Panda was also promoting the other Nick demo guy, so he'll get to wank on camera to it as well. I'm probably in the minority, but I find him dull too. I quickly got bored of JustNick because his demos were always insanely long and tended to sound like he was always playing the
exact same thing every time throughout every demo.
I haven't paid attention to his online presence, but I've heard similar claims as yours.

Ha, I haven't witnessed the forum smugness—he seems alright in the comment sections of his vids. I always thought he was sort of an endearing geek, but I totally agree that GOD DAMN his vieos drag on way too long. I find myself constantly thinking GET TO THE POINT, AND CUT YOUR NOODLING DOWN TO A COUPLE MINS.
There's no reason a demo vid needs to be 18 minutes long, 16 minutes of which are just aimless jamming.
So much this. I don't mind him. It' just that I really can't get anything out of the video and just find myself skipping it and moving to the next one

Cool, I was gone all weekend and only missed 6 pages - I was worried I'd be like 20 behind by now
But more importantly, did any of y'all that were at NAMM go see our old pal Aen over at the Dwarfcraft booth?
There was definitely something new on that demo board of their's (besides the Super Wizard) and I'd really like to know what it is. I posted a pic probably 20 pages back, but it's got a silver enclosure and was to the left of the Super Wizard. It's definitely not something that's currently available. It appeared to have 5 knobs, and be the same enclosure size as the Necromancer. Given that they had their 20 or so pedals out that run the full gambit of pedal types (except reverb), I seriously doubt it's something by a different company.
There was talk of another filter from them on their instagram a while back? Also there was talk of an analog delay on their sub, but I think that was an old topic so I dunno.

Here's a picture from Gearphoria's FB page, probably the one you mean, but no other info yet:

hotknife wrote:^ I totally get what you're saying, but the few times I've seen/heard Reinhardt - he can't seem to let each new setting breathe and lets his camera mugging influence his tweaking more than the actual music. Our very own Eivind takes a similar approach with the "randomness" and I feel is much more successful since each quick cut has something interesting and creative to say.
Wait, are we just going to pretend not noticing I was just referred to as the Nick Reinhart of ILF?
