Does your Memory Loss glitch out? I barely get any glitchy stuff at all unless I bang really hard on the bass which will cause the signal to cut out and back in. Basically what I use this for is a massive, massive wall of noise. It's absolutely crazy how loud of a signal that pedal pushes out.

I have one of the newer versions with a boost in front of it. Really helps to bring it up to the threshold. Try a clean boost in front of it

Well until my interface arrives this week this is what I did in 15 minutes or so of messing around.

I use the RC-2 to generate some beats (not as a looper).
Had lots of fun. Hope to find something with some better beat one day.

made a loop with a bunch of stuff then ran the rc3 > fuck > ed2 > deco. love the boards of canada vibe the deco gives off now off to see if I'll be held in contempt of court for some bullshit back from 2012.

They're great. I take them with me on public transportation (w/ headphones...). So much better than just staring at my phone.
