I don't know why coily cables are cool, they just are.

Excellent choices on those straps, and a killer board set up. :thumb:

Doesn't have a lot of my favourite pedals on it but this is what I've been rocking lately.
A Fuzz Factory Clone and a Boss OD-3 should be joining soon.

I'm not liking delay in a band context anymore it seems.
I've been playing much mathier intense stuff lately in comparison to my old postrockish stuff so it's only natural.
I'll probably throw the DD6 on for the Stutter effect as well as for the warp mode delay.

Sweet board we have similar tastes. Based on the setting you are using the pog for you might be better off getting a ring thing. It can do the polyphonic pitch shifting and it can do trem sounds so you might be able to kick the trem of your board as well. I also have a hard time believing you really need 3 delays and 2 reverbs.

I have a ring thing if you ever want to come by and check it out...among other pedals I own.

I've actually thought about the Moog Ring Mod for stuff like this, too. A friend has one if I can pry it from him for a bit.

Me too. Believe me, though, I use them all. My plethora of "samey" pedals serves two things well: playing live and combining. Boring explanations follow:

NSFW: show
MB is slapback or chorus or vibrato, modes changing with just one turn or switch.
DT is medium dark delay with optional mod (switchable) and fucking great oscillations. It's my go-to noise maker.
DD3 is long, clean delay with option digital chorus or octave down on repeats (via Behringer). I would like to figure out how to get this effect to be more noticeable.
Verbzilla is mainly used as a 4th [digital] delay (short and even) or in Octave mode.
Hall of Fame (newest) is used for huge reverb or modulated(!) reverb. Won't go wet though. :(

I actually sometimes use 3-5 of these at once. For example, I'll stack all 4 delays to get a delay-driven overdrive roar or switch between delays during one song. I know that some guys accomplish this sound with one pedal, but I can't get it. I also know that there are probably some pedals that would do all this in one box (Timefactor?), but I usually can't get into complex pedals.

I notice no one is saying "Too much fuzz/gain/distortion."

The moog wont do the polyphonic pitch shifting like the ring thing will. I totally know where you are coming from with the stacking of the delays and reverbs, I do it too but if you are really looking to downsize you could get away with less. Maybe a good solution for you would be to make two boards that you can daisy chain when you feel like it.

That's my current project, combining both boards and adding a 4 channel True Bypass looper with a Master Bypass. The looper RULES!!! Helps simplify HUGE setups for sure.

I just run small "banks" of pedals into each loop, cleans up the signal immensely and lets me switch in/out bunches of pedals with one stomp, a far cry from the usual panicked tap dance.

Some redundant stuff on my board(s) too, mostly in the fuzz department. Want to experiment with everything, sick of switching shit in and out constantly. Waiting on a couple Dr. Scientist wares and the overhaul will finally be complete.

Regarding the overhaul being "complete"?

That's what I'm telling myself at least, you know how it goes.
