Didn't want to make a new thread since there's probably some similar ones floating around. Best metal albums of the year. Go!

That reminds me that I haven't bought new music in a LONG time. Shit, I can't even remember what I HAVE bought that came out this year

Come on people. I've been working on a top 10 metal albums of 2012 list since August - as well as one for EPs and one for Splits. I've "firmly" decided on 7 so far in the full length category. I need some help deciding on the rest - though they may change by the end of the year.

Well, the only shit that I was actually excited about and bought this year:
Author and Punisher: Ursus Americanus
Monarch!: Omens
Columns of Heaven LP
The rest is just noise and noisecore, this is literally the rest of the music I have bought this year:
Urine Cop CS, Urine Cop 7", Sissy Spacek 7", The Rita CS
Been spending all my money on gear and listening to nothing but Khanate's S/T and the Red Sparowes discography

Periphery II: This Time It's Personal
BTBAM - Parallax II Future Sequence
Architects - Daybreaker (is it metal enough?)
Diablo Swing Orchestra - Pandora's Piňata
Glass Cloud - The Royal Thousand
Meshuggah - Koloss
i'd list Converge and ETID as well, but they're not metal

New Black Breath is pretty great, as well. whether or not you'd call them metal is up to you.
