Eric! wrote:That's basically what my band Space Radio is. Well, guit, bass, drums. It's VERY noisy. Guit is very obviously influenced my In Soviet Russia, You Jerk The Circle!, and I love me some feedback mayhem. Lock tight with our outstanding drummer. Y'all'z gonna love it!

put. some shits. up. NOW.

yer. i love the stuff i do with my fella's, but i miss more free flowing stuff. using a computer and some backing track stuff opens up some interesting avenues, but being locked to a click track and a song progression closes others.

fucking trade-offs.

Traded my old amp for a LMII and the Bergantino AE112 cab. Since I still prefer my existing cab to the Berg I flipped it for about the cost of an iPad2. I'm having a lot of fun with it, especially messing around with Garageband and other music apps. Picked up the Apogee Jam and I am very happy with how easy it is to eff around with my bass and pedals to make stupid noises on the iPad. Having a lot of fun making ridiculous noises as well as more practical songwriting ideas! After I spent an hour yesterday messing around with the setup and my headphones, my g/f asked me what I was doing since I hardly seemed to be playing the bass. If she heard the noise I was making she probably would have thought I was crazy. Anyway, here is a pic of the setup.

Tis a hard thing to demo. There are so many options. I did a set of clips originally, but they were pretty poor to be honest. I'll give it a shot again tonight with the new setup, but I can't promise the quality of it.

I hear ya! I am the only bass player in NW Indiana that I know of that has full pedal board. My board smokes most guitarists around here as well!
