YEAH I READ PRINCE VALIANT YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT
I READ EVERY COMIC
EXCEPT CATHY WHICH I'M GLAD IS DEAD
Rex Morgan is great because nothing ever fucking happens but there's always an "action" panel where the color scheme is really weird.
I do this also. The newspaper my family gets while we're in Pennsylvania during the summer has Prince Valiant, but the Boston Globe doesn't, so I would always be completely lost during the couple months I would read it. But I had to read every comic in the comics section. Also, as a small child I never understood Zippy but I still read it every day.

Did anybody else watch Cloud Atlas and say to themselves, "hey look it's the hitcher!"

I saw Luckybone do that live once accept he just used random musique-concrete samples, and he did it for like ten minutes. Was pretty cool.

Seriously, why do we do this to ourselves? I passionately hate half the strips in the paper, and yet I read every one of them when I pick it up.

Oh, and Luckybone had a stellar-awesome mustache.
I was stuck between something and something else, but I don't remember. Soooo I can't tell you.

I find the touch of newsprint physically repulsive. Not sure why. It has nothing to do with the content, but that doesn't help.

I can actually get behind that. It feels like the paper and ink is coming off on my fingers when I read.

That's exactly what it's doing. After reading a newspaper for a while, rub your fingers across a piece of printer paper.

My college is wrapping up a game of Humans vs Zombies.
7% of our entire student population sat, waiting an hour to tag me out of the game.
Maybe we're dedicated. Maybe North Dakota is just a little too much for our fragile minds.

To me it feels so dry that it's like sucking the moisture out of my whole body through my fingertips

I'll have to check that one out!
You should also watch "Note by Note: The Making of Steinway L1037" if you haven't already. Very cool.

I often enjoy some of the physics/math videos on youtube. I thought this one was pretty mind blowing:

Just had a trippy conversation with my dad. I asked for gas money and he said, "I just did two days ago. Remember, when you refilled your prescriptions." I was like, "huh, ok, I'm just losing it."
Go check my prescription bottles. Turns out they were filled on the 15th. Half a month ago, not two days. But both my dad and I are so busy (and in my case "altered") to tell the difference.
