I have heard a lot about the slim phatty's problem warming up. Take forever which I think is part of th reaso they are stopping production.

Yup, it has. Unfortunately, don't have a for sure significant payday amount until the 9th. Have a couple freelance gigs that might happen sooner, but nothing set in stone. Anyone know how long this sale goes for?

That sale at perfect circuit seems to happen monthly

It usually corresponds with their listing expiring (so they don't have to pay ebay relist fees I think)

They have sales all the time though. Plus there are a few in Japan still on sale and they do come up here from time to time (steroid od).

Seems pretty decent. $500 plus is typical around me for any vintage. This is a newer one, so less mojo/snob appeal, but may have more handy modern features and less decrepitude maintenance issues. If the owner bought new, they're taking a bath on the depreciation at that ask. If everything is working and the knobs and inputs aren't in need of contact cleaner, that's probably the price floor.
