wasn't there a version of the KK that had access to the chip on the faceplate so you could swap them....for some reason I think so? maybe it was the Memory Loss.
That was a version of the Memory Loss. If I remember correctly though, the chip that you could replace was a lot smaller than a PT2399Uncle Grandfather wrote:wasn't there a version of the KK that had access to the chip on the faceplate so you could swap them....for some reason I think so? maybe it was the Memory Loss.
Yeah you are right, I've got the mental image now and it was a smallish chip.Strange Tales wrote:That was a version of the Memory Loss. Good to know. I picked up 5 total just to mess around with on random things. Gotta get reading about them (or at least the data sheet). Seppuku has made me learn more about electronics than just about anything, for better or worse (Jero wrote:There can be noticeable variances with the pt2399 for sure.

i wonder how close mine is to the one you had....we ordered them at the same time but i think he pimped mine out to make up for the long wait. looks like he lowered the asking price for the ecco too, it was over 400$ at one point. Also there are Memory Loss available for sale now tooUglyCasanova wrote:HNNNNNGH! Fap fap fap. That EcoMod makes me so regretful for trading away mine. I need to aquire another.
Yeah the extra buttons add that awesome fuzz to the circuit among other crazy things. I use the ecco mod just as a fuzz tone all the time its such a great fuzz. I demand you get oneUglyCasanova wrote:Yeah, you got a loop function, aaaand...something else, haha. I think the "stock" version only has the top five knobs on yours: Dynamic, disrupt, delay time, repeats and volume (and two buttons... I think it was pitch up/down and dry+wet/wet only)
