I finished the pedal for my stalkee last night. Sounds awesome, though I may be biased since it is my creation. Have all the other stuff ready too besides the snacks. Everything is coming up Millhouse!

I found it! The awesome, gift completing thing that I came across in a most serendipitous fashion! I'm actually more than a little sad to give it away but I do get to play with it until it's all wrapped up.

All righty! After weeks of freaking out about what to do, I finally started stalking my recipient properly - I got them a pedal that definitely fills a hole in their board, though I'm always paranoid about whether they'll actually like it. Started a mix CD, and got some leads on some fun extras. Good times.

I actually went out in Oslo shopping the other day. Pedal stuff is taken care of, just need a little spice. I seldom put this much effort into... anything? But damn, it's fun!

No one get's as awesome a present from me as my Santee. In the first year I think I got my wife something almost as awesome, but then we got divorced, so

Yeah but I guess the awesomeness of the gift you give is proportional to the awesomeness of the gift you expect to receive. I mean gift giving is based on reciprocity.

I'm almost done shopping unless another idea pops up. I'm at about 170 euros spent. I really would have had a hard time doing less than 150 euros. Is it me or the limits we settled on are far off, at least for EU people?
That worries me. I don't want to spend too much and have people feel bad like they didn't do enough once we all step to the opening part.

It is harder to keep to the limits here. I mean, second hand Boss DS-1s usually go for 300 SEK here which is 9 dollars cheaper than a new one at Sweetwater. Last year I think my postage cost more than the limit haha.

Haha, yeah. I just peaked 300 euros when I include shipping (which is a big percentage). But I've imported almost all of it, so 25% of that is just taxes. Then there's a fee from customs on top of that for each item.

My guess is that I'll round off to about 180 Euros once I've got the snacks and the shipping paid for, so I wouldn't say you're totally out of the ball park.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't feel badly if you can't swing something similar, though. In fact, that would defeat the entire point.
