Killer! Remember, it gets quiet and farty for a couple seconds when you stomp bypass it, so I suggest either using it with an effects loop pedal, or making it true bypass ( I think a lead from pos input to output w/ a DPST will do the trick but I haven't tried yet). There may be a more clever way to do this but I am not clever.

Just got back from Austin, where I got to see Sonidero, aka Santadero, aka Santa Marc, aka MY SECRET SANTA! Which was exciting to hear because it worked out perfectly. I was in Austin for The Fall of Troy, and I had an excuse to hang out with Soni again! Haley and I got to meet his kitty, check out how record collection (which was more of a wall) and enjoy playing through loud amps. Well, I enjoyed it. She was sick. Anyway, Soni let me pick through some of his records to enhance my gifts, and I grabbed something to circuit bend when I get back to Florida. Totally not necessary, but awesome nonetheless! I had to take many pictures to capture all the awesome presents, hence the NSFW tag for the sake of loading this thread. Without further ado:
The Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt was kind of a joke because I don't seem like the kind of guy who would wear a shirt like that. Which is true, and that's why I wear shirts like that! He showed me the front first, and then showed me the back and I just cracked up. He also gave me some awesome looking snacks (haven't had a chance to dig in yet), an awesome CD, and an interesting book for my not-so-interesting plane ride.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
I also got a sweet Star Wars bag, a REALLY sweet voice changer (seriously been wanting to get one of these but I didn't get a chance to go to Spirit when they were clearing out), some awesome blue dice, awesome bird stickers, an awesome coaster to match my fancy beer, some Mexican chocolate (apparently I can make hot chocolate with it so I'm gonna try that), and the piece de la resistance...



Oh yes. Super super excited for this.

After we jammed and hung out and make loud fuzzies (I'm GASing for a baritone guitar and a Buzzaround and a Sunn amp even harder), we went outside to to beat the crap out of each other, and then made up, and then had some beers. So it was a very good day. Afterwards I had amazing BBQ with family and saw The Fall of Troy for the third night in a row.






Also, fun fact: Soni's mailbox is purple, as is everything in his house. He claims that it was like that when he moved in, but I don't believe him.

Ahh the memories... It was a blast... My SS gift came today and it's killer, I broke my camera cable so I'll get some shitty cell pics up in a bit... This years SS was so much fun, can't wait to do it again...
