That's what I love about it.

Are they pretty much on par with the J. Mascis or better?
Never played a Mascis.... but will probably buy one in a few months.
But the Squier Bass VI is next on the list.

NGD has finally arrived: You may recall the slight fiasco with the SG Gothic Morte. I'm still bummed about that guitar. Without the issues it would have been a rad guitar. I may keep on eye on evil bay and see if one pops up in better condition.
At any rate I was able to use the credit from that guitar and put a couple more bucks up for a USA Gibson without all the baggage.

I can't really come across any solid leads on this guitar. The best I can gather it's a 1998 Les Paul Junior Special Humbucker.
I see a current version LPJ Special Humbucker but this one is a bit different; unless some things have been swapped out. Current ones are probably chambered, mine is probably "weight relieved" but it's still pretty heavy. Current ones have ivory Kluson style tuning machines. Mine are the proper shape but they are Grovers. Current models have bound fingerboards. Mine is does not enjoy bondage or BDSM.
From what I can gather the pups are 490s
Here is a family portrait of the electrics.

Not here yet but I'm stoked. This is a "tempo" from I believe the late 60s. Set neck, ohsc, low action and a gold foil p-up!
I also have miscellaneous other crap, but you know, this is new and hot.

Nonexistent.
Looks awesome anyway.

Yeah a bridge upgrade might be worth it, we'll see how it goes, I had an old Kay archtop a while back that actually intonated fairly well with a similar bridge, but I don't wander high enough up the neck enough to get too bent outta shape about it.

Sorry for the quality. I don't own an actual camera, so the webcam is the only thing I can use. :/
It's a Blacktop Jaguar with one of those vintage styled tailpieces from Guitarfetish. I wanted to be able to do the fun behind the bridge stuff, and the Blacktop had basically everything I wanted (simple electronics on a jaguar) except for that. It has some heavy strings on it, and it's tuned to B standard. I'm planning to change the pickups out at some point, but not sure whether I want to go for lower output humbuckers, or humbucker sized p90s (or both <__<).
