I'm fine with the delays because I'm low on cash

We love Penticton too and I've had family in Princeton all my life. Summerland is between Kelowna and Penticton, cute little town of about 11000. We like Okanagan Falls the most I think, it's about 15 minutes south of Penticton, small town of 6000, I think it's our favourite Okanagan spot.

I wish I had a Deluxe Reverb, I've only got the Super.. I'd like to build a Deluxe kit this year though...
goroth wrote:I've drunk some Okenagan wine, that was pretty good. Bodes well!
Heck yeah it does! The Okanagan is major wine country, there's vineyards and orchards everywhere all through the whole valley, it's really cool. I'm planning on getting into wine way more if we end up going!
AngryGoldfish wrote:I think one long demo is handy-pandy-dandy. It really gets my ruffles feathered when that guy GregsGuitars on YouTube releases multiple different videos of the same thing. It's not as if he's completely rearranging everything, he's just going from a blues sound to jazz-blues sound. He makes more money that way though. Reminds me of :excellent:
I agree, I think it's best for one long video with all the sounds and I'll give you the clicks to the other sections.

I'm sorry buddy! I'm terrible with time frames aren't I, I'm sorry for it.. we're still trucking along though! Adam's got major progress done on the boxes, my new Zoomer just arrived moments ago so I can start working on the clean demo, and from there it's just a matter of getting the boards and the Spin chips and off we go!
The thing that holds me back is keeping up with my work.. I've already got 30 pedals in the queue for this week and that takes me pretty much 8 non-stop days to build and ship that many, so it's tough keeping up and making progress. I would love to be making the BQ already, I think it's ready for prime time!
Which does remind of two eccentricities I still have to sort out with the clean patches.. one is with the reverb modulation, it drops out if you turn the knob too fast.. and the other is with the notch filter envelope, it's pretty subtle. 2 small details to tweak!

OK folks, the BQ pre-order is imminent! Fair warning! Awoooga!
I've got the clean demo ready and I'll post it here after I tell you my pre-order plan....
This is going to be a pre-order like the Cosmi v3 where I needed a bit of help to get the ball rolling and it involved a bit of a wait, but this wait will be shorter. The boxes are really close to being ready to ship to me, the pcbs and parts are just 2-3 weeks away. There's no surprises with the build or the gear, I've built 4 protos, no problemos, the code is well tested and ready for prime time. I think it's totally reasonable to be able to start building these in about a month. I'll need a couple weeks to get them all built and shipped. So your pedal should be in the mail in about 6 weeks, give or take.
In the next day or two or I'm going to make a new thread called the BitQuest pre-order thread or something catchy like that. I'll have both demo videos in there for your perusal as well as pics of the acid etched boxes. There's only 50 of these acid etched boxes and Jeff and Adam each get one, so there will be 48 available to buy. The price will be $250 and it will include a t-shirt and stickers and picks. (We still haven't officially ordered the production run yet so if you're hoping for a powder coated box it'll be a longer wait, I'm sorry, but that will be an option later on, next couple months kinda thing for sure)
Some of the acid etched boxes have some colour, I think most are black, so it'll be first come first served for the choice.
I think that covers the important details, let me know if not, and here's the clean demo! Thanks for watching!
