Brian The M - howwwww well does this bugger track on bass? i'm still gonna pick one up, 'cause if it plays fine on the D through C strings glitchy when in a lower register might be neat. but just curious.

what all have y'all played through it to test the tracking?

Its either this or a Ring Thing. But then again, why not both? Seriously, I want both. I've already got a Montreal Assembly CA Mod and its super awesome. But it also leaves room for more ring mods. I feel like ring mods have turned into the new fuzz for me. Can never get enough and I'm stoked to see people make new pedals of it.

Caleb, our resident bass enthusiast, says he loves it.

I plugged one in to our crappy $250 ibanez bass and it tracked okay down to the 3rd or 4th fret on the E string. Below that it's a bit iffy.

some of upper range of the tracking carrier can have a strange attack with really low notes. It takes more than half a cycle to find the pitch. the lower the pitch the more noticeable.

neat. honestly, tracking anywhere on the E string is impressive. below first position on the D string is good stuff.

Yeah because it is SubDecay. They just aren't meant for Bass.

oog. i know. there's so much SubDecay makes i want to love, but i just haven't bonded with it on bass. HOPE THIS IS THE EXCEPTION.
