I had an idea for a fictional sludge band called Mellow Mildew that are literally too stoned to play, lose focus, and when they do play its thick as mud and slow but lyrical content is about trivial dilemmas a stereotypical stoner would have and hes confused, thinking they are real problems. The idea was to play actual shows and to record only live sets as albums.

This is genius. It has side project written all over it! My friend had an idea like this, it is called - Resin.

Thanks man! I like your friends name better. I have too many concepts I want to squeeze out, this one would involve alot more than writing songs. I imagined it more like theater. Maybe one day.

I just had a similar thought except instead of stoners and sludge, its meth-heads and thrash metal. Their name is Icepick.

How about thrash band called Master Shredder and make songs only about pizza and karate?
