I was referring to the current conflicts that we - the US - are engaged in.

I do believe that since the end of WWII, the world has slowly changed for the better, but it has been a 'two steps forward, one step backwards' sort of progress. But now we may be seeing a major regression.

Well, it's like this - they have successfully tested nuclear weapons, they have a rocket program that has a goal of building ICBMs that can reach America, and they want to miniaturize their nukes to fit on their ICBMs. In short, they want to be able to threaten us with a nuclear attack.

China hasn't done anything to stop them yet, and I doubt they will, or even could if they wanted to. If they stop sending money to North Korea, they could have a flood of refugees coming across the border, which they definitely don't want.

Assad is butcher, but he can't project force beyond his own borders, so his butchering is limited to his own people. But yeah, they should have flown one of those Tomahawks right in the bedroom window of his presidential palace.

And yes, Trump is too senile for game theory.
