Ohhhhh! The Goose (TFP). Does it have a wide range of fuzz even without a fuzz knob?
I heard that setting 5 and 6 are synth like... how it compare to the Fuzzhugger AB-Synth? Similar or very different beasts?
I listened to the TFP demo on Youtube... to my ear it sound more like an overdrive... but Youtube???
You have a very nice board.

Very different beasts!
The AB-Synth is fantastic for getting insane fuzzy sounds, and when you've gotten quite familiar with it, you'll be able to get predictable results with the oscillation and that kind of thing. The Goose, however, was the easiest oscillating fuzz to master immediately that I've come across. The oscillation is way easy to control, and the results are rather predictable, which is good for me. It can be pretty overdrivey, but it's still got that fuzzy grit to it. You can really make it scream with a bit of a push in front of it, though. By itself it can be pretty tame, but once you push it just a smidge it starts gettin really fuzzy.
Thanks

Another awesome board plus super clean and organized. I would accidentally crush that iPhone for sure if put in a live situation with it.

After much time and deliberation, this is the board I will be using for my new 3 piece band, The Barleywine Sound Union.

Yeah, I setup the QF2 after my PPB, but I'm going to change it to before. It makes more sense that way.

Maybe I have too much faith in the durability of iPods/Phones. It is situated below an always on pedal so my only worry is a beer bottle or other hard heavy getting dropped on it.
