I'm pretty sure it stands for "There are absolutely no tubes in this amp whatsoever, despite the 'SVT' moniker".

Nice, I think that was Ampeg's reaction to the JC-120. There are a couple Doom Room-ers that go nuts for that amp.
Strange Tales wrote:God I'm not sure I want the cab either since it probably weighs a thousand suns, but I do want that head.
So... is that a 4x15" cab, or did he attach the wrong picture? Because if it IS a 4x15...

If I had any need for a guitar head I might go for it. I don't play guitar seriously enough to warrant anything outside of a combo amp though.

I don't think it's a 4x15 cab. I don't think Crate would ever splurge on making a 4x15 series of cabs. I would be all over a 4x15 cab otherwise.

I'mma post up that SS140 in the DR... I really just want something I can slave off my OR to run a second cab...

Very few people (Marshall is the only one I can think of right now) ever had the stones to make a 4x15...

Theres been a few popping up lately at really low prices. Sort of cool that people get a chance for this pedal and don't have to shell out half a grand or more.

I found a Goatkeeper 3 for 300 bucks just like 6 months ago. That's top what I would pay unless it was new. People are a bit ridiculous with the prices now.

yeah........but even you listed it for $400 on reverb..

IMO, anything under 4 bills is a steal. the total value of what I traded for the preset modded GK I have now is $500+ don't regret it one bit though :)*

My friend in Richmond, VA is selling his drum kit. It's at a great price but I'm over 200 miles away from it.

Also I think this is really cheap? If I remember right the old Univox amps go for a lot now.

That's a pretty good deal since it's in such good shape. Love the look of all that.
