Gear portion of my gift is ordered! This thing is really coming together now, I have all the major things I wanted, now it's time to find extras.

I feel a bit bad none of my family are getting this much effort put into their gifts...

Let's spin it another way, what about members who are low post count and only post in threads that don't pertain to gear, or they haven't posted anything in a month or more? Not saying anyone here does that but we've had folks like that before and it makes it harder for you to be stalked.

It's not me is it? I'm probably harder to stalk than most as I know I haven't posted as much in the GAS and gear threads and I haven't posted my board yet. But I did put a lot details into the wish list thread. So if my secret Satan is having trouble stalking, then I am sorry.

I'm still doing a little stalking for some of those extra gifts. I'm really really jealous of the gift I got my Secret Satan. I want to play it so badly when it arrives but I'll have to let it slide. I will probably buy one after the holidaze because I think it's super sick.

As for not participating int the SS threads I don't find a fault with that. Some people might spend a little less time on the net and they want to make sure that they're posting where they enjoy posting.

I understand it can be tough to try to figure out what our SS may want when they don't post in the GAS thread or the Sunday GAS thread all the time. That's not what these forums are about, although many of us often participate. In terms of the last few GAS threads I think I continually talk about Microbrutes and Bass VIs. Doubt my SS is gonna drop the cheese on that and it's cool because I think I post enough in various threads to let me interests be known as far as what I'm leaning towards/interested in as far as gear goes. If we have some people who are struggling to do that -- maybe they're just barely over the post count threshold then maybe we need to reevaluate next year. Perhaps we need a little coalition of people to help the organizer of next year's SS to do some pre-stalking of those wishing to participate to verify that posting is happening with some consistency.

Yeah I was only involved for the first time last year, but then there wasn't anywhere NEAR this much constant posting. Excitement, then when assignments got given out it went quiet till the gifts started arriving.

I've been part of several SS's on other forums, and this is by far the one where the most people seem involved and excited. And not only are they psyched, their excitement is based on giving their stalkee an awesome gift!
