thanks! It's evolved over the years to this lineup, and I couldn't be happier with them.backwardsvoyager wrote: That is a SWEET collection.
I covered the top with floral wallpaper; adhered it on, then used an exacto knife to trim it to fit. The sticker is a 1936 'Landon and Knox' campaign decal. The original tuners were useless, so I put some Grovers on thatGreenfuz wrote:tell me more about that parlor guitar
what'd you put on it

yeah, I usually use it to come up with song ideas. I used it on this track with an old lo-fi boombox:kosta wrote:That's a sick guitar man. Love the customizations. Have you done any recordings with it?

they advertised these as having 'the fastest necks in the world'. If fast means thin then I'd have to agree. The necks are like toothpicks, but still really comfortable (imo of course). You can get the action super lowgunslinger_burrito wrote: Rad!
How's the Hagstrom play? I've always thought those particular models looked pretty killer.

without buzzing. The string spacing is a little tight, but you get used to it. The vibrato is really great, similar to a jazzmaster. I put a set of 12's on and tuned it to C#, and it sounds like doom surf now. The only complaint is
that it's really frustrating to intonate the bridge, as the saddles are held in by two opposing set screws. You have to loosen one and tighten the other to get it to move forward or backward, and there isn't a lot of travel. If you
can find one for under $500 I'd say go for it.

Holy shit, that cool! what kind of pickups are the humbuckers?Obulus wrote:Finally somewhat finished modding my cheapo Mockingbird! Behind the bridge pickup awesomeness and CHROME!
