Nice looking cab, that is what I'm thinking for mine only with gold piping. It's a long way off though there is a lot more musical equipment I want let alone other shit that is needed.odontophobia wrote:Wine taurus is my favorite color.lefchr wrote:AngryGoldfish wrote:Is that a burgundy Rectifier and a natural Les Paul Custom? yep, the rectifier took a fall down some stairs one time and I had to order a new shell for it so I went with what they call wine taurus I believe. The les Paul is a 1980 with a manlius fat goat bridge pickup. At some point I want to get a matching cab, but that is going to be awhile from now.
I have two avatar cabs done in it.
my 2x12 is featured on their website. bad dad is loaded with two eminence swamp things.

Re: Let's see your AMP!

Picked this up yesterday. Finally got to play around with it this morning. I am deaf. It isn't the loudest amp I ever owned, but it puts out the biggest wall of sound out of any of them. Needs a retube and some contact cleaner on the volume knob but other than that this thing is perfect. I can't find out anything on the GTO online though so if any of you guys are familiar with them I'd appreciate a little info or tips on them.

Work clean out/move today, scored this for the low, low price of free:

American made Ultimate Chorus. Somebody stole the knobs, and some of the pots are scratchy, but it works. And it weighs much, much less than a JC120.

I'm pretty sure I've tried the GTO before at the Matamp factory. Can't remember any details though. Maybe email Matamp themselves? I don't think they've stopped selling them for that long/

Maybe someone got annoyed by their red knobs on the The Twin?

It is a 1967 Sonic 1. Both boosts are on and the Bass and Treble are maxed out. I can get the volume to about 5 before my wife starts yelling.

Awesome amp. Fryette is the sound in my head. I haven't found anything that matches it. I have the Memphis and I'll be buying a Deliverance 60 eventually.

Hell yeah! Fryettes are amazing, I think I've owned this amp longer than any other one I've had lol. Those Memphis amps are pretty kick ass from the clips I've heard. I really want a deliverance as well
