The fact he didn't do international bidders probably scared off anyone that would like to bid on it. He never responded to my message as well about shipping to the US so who knows.

Didn't work for me in the USA. I even tried it on the UK site as it was originally posted as a Ebay UK code apparently. When I enter the code it says something like "there is no balance left on this code". Maybe it expired.

Got to see if my tax returns come in before the weekend though, and then I'd need to win the auction , and it needs to stay at a reasonable-ish price, and the guy needs to respond to my message about wether he's cool with sending it to a middle man. A lot of uncertain factors, but fuck, I want it.

Three balls is the universal symbol of pawn shops, btw. I think it was the crest of some medieval family in England or something. They probably had three balls.

I've been to that pawn--I used to travel through northern WV for years on business--scored some cool stuff there, but I would have thought it had dried up by now. Gotta love college towns....
