Recently bought a film scanner and abused some color negatives. I've abused and printed black and white before, but this is my first attempt at fucking with color negs.

this is a paper i did for my aesthetics of reproduction class. i had to present the paper in a format that dramatically altered the experience of reading it. the original paper-square is 78 pixels by 78 pixels. there are 6000ish characters. i really only transcribed like three or four paragraphs in then kinda cheated with the rest but...

thats when you write a small script to draw it for you right from the text file but alas, it is not a computer science class.

ARGHHH DON'T MENTION THAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT THE WHOLE FUCKING TIME! i know if i knew how to it would be like less than one hour of writing code and bam but i don't. and i even googled it but i couldn't find anything. i don't care too much though, the final effect would've looked pretty much the same.

although the ability to do this to my other papers would be sick. HORIZONTAL LINES OF BLACK INK ON PAPER IS JUST SO CONSERVATIVE.

I like those a lot. What kind of camera are you using? Did you manipulate the color through development?

Thanks guys! It's just a line drawing colored in
Photoshop, which I'm sort of just working out how to use haha
