This is the End.
So many people thought it was amazing. I thought it was terrible.

Have you ever seen Movie 43? That is awful. I've seen z-grade movies that were better than that.

I thought it was worth watching and I enjoyed it for the most part. It didn't take itself too seriously, but it wasn't as woeful as the Scary Movie series or other films of that ilk.
behndy wrote:lulz. yeah. i loved the first 2 or 3 CoD's when they went to Modern Warfare. but it's fucking Madden now. inconsequential changes as a money grab with yearly releases.
MEH.
The first Modern Warfare was fantastic, one of my favourite games ever. I played it so much for its refreshing take on fast-paced combat. But then the next came out and it only changed a few minor things. I enjoyed it, but then World At War came out and it was lacking somewhat. Then MW2 and it was more of the same. Then Black Ops. And I began to notice them becoming less and less relatable—or maybe I was desiring more depth and less action and the games weren't offering that. It was still a good game, for the most part, and I had fun with it, but from then on every new game could have been offered as a DLC package. But Activision wouldn't have made anywhere near as much money so that was never going to happen. I stopped buying from after the first Black Ops.

lol. about my arc too. i got less enamored but still liked CoD through MW2, Black Ops was pure meh.
i mean, they made their money. a LOT of it. and i donMt really begrudge them that. but..... it's boring now. i don't really know if that's totally their fault. they made an amazing addictive fun game, i prestiged and had a boast leveling up so many times.... but i don't get drawb in any more. the level design seems a bit less inspired now too.
my little bro and i always talk about how it would be AWESOME if they put out one tweaked to be closer to the early MW style with all classic maps.
urf. i used to fucking LOVE the Knife Witch class. so FUN going 20 and 6 and getting at least 2 pms a game telling me how i was a horrible cheesy awful bitch for bringing a knife to a gun fight.

My sister, her boyfriend and I are having a blast reliving Black Ops Zombies. But overall it's far from the best in the series.
I don't know whether it's because they haven't done anything new that I think the first Modern Warfare is the best or if Modern Warfare 2 and 3 are actually 'better' but are simply too close to the original that they are forgettable.

"Meh" has pretty much summed up my experience with CoD. Only ever played it with friends, typically zombies. And those times I've had fun. Other than that, it never struck me as ZOMGSOL33TM8MUSTGITN00BLOLOLOLOLOL. Just another shooter. Don't really hate it, not really in love with it.
Come to think of it, the only shooter I've ever loved like a second child has been the halo series. Making ridiculous maps and playing them with friends was always amazing.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home. Everyone has told me it's great. I watched about a half hour of it last night and it was awful.

Anchorman 2. It could've just been an online web series thats broken up in 10 minute chunks. It's almost experimental in how retarded and unfunny it was.

Yeah, lets have have the opening joke of Anchorman 2 just be Ron screaming like a fucking lunatic - it'll be really funny.
... And people laughed.

I thought the idea behind the Leiv Schrieber/Naomi Watts bit was funny. The one about Homeschooling.
I didn't make it past the "will you poop on my chest" bit, though. Also, I don't really think of it as a movie--each bit is written, directed, and acted by different people. It's more like an hourlong featurette screening.

Yah I watched that the other day as well, it was pretty bad. It felt like one long middle. Even when it ended it wasn't really over. All of the character types were exaggerated. Ugh, the more I think about it, the worse it gets.
