I've been thinking that for a long time, but the more I look at the price tag and the more I look at the hp, the more I realize it just won't work in my system. Until I seriously upgrade my case. I believe I'll be going with a Braids instead; less cv, but it does have plucked, blow, and bell modes that sound pretty good. Also, meta mode and bees-in-the-trees.

Also Faldoe, search muffwiggler for the thread "Microbrute as first euro module" or something like that (if I wasn't on my phone is link it). I read it awhile ago but from what I recall there were lots of opinions and suggestions on augmenting a Microbrute with euro
Thanks, found it. Seems like people were saying it has a quite a few quirks that make it not so ideal as a tool to be used with euro rack stuff.

I may hold off on that and do more research into what I want in terms of euro rack stuff.

Are we posting bonerific modular vids now? Here's one with a small but awesome set up. FM-synth elements is also awesome! I'm getting huge Mass Effect/ FTL vibes from it.

That first video is excellent. It's really inspiring my to try some more complex sequencing. I'm going to try something similar with my Moskwa and either an LFO from Peaks or just my Pressure Points.

That second video is beautiful. I've been looking at the SMR a lot recently and I'm really finding that I really want one. Seems just amazing for shaping drones and noise. I definitely don't have the room for it in my current plan though. I think I'll be making an effects rack with my Clouds, an SMR, and the new Alright Audio Chronoblob (which also looks amazing! https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewt ... p?t=148772)

Yay or nay? :snax:
Yay. Pretty good price and that side switch is nice. I have to do a super reacharound to turn my stuff on.

Sadly the price of these here in Japan is as usual quite high, otherwise I might have gotten one while I wait for my ideal case to be built (which will take quite a few more months I think)... I've got too many modules for my Cell90 but I don't want to spend too much money on a temporary case. Slightly annoying :).

Like, is it more than the cost to buy one here and have it shipped? :(

Well, the dollar is stronger/yen weaker than a few years ago so things coming from the US end up being quite expensive when you factor in the cost of importing the stuff. That case is $250, which is about ¥30,600. It'll be sold for about ¥38,300. So yeah, quite similar in the end when you consider cost/hassle of international shipping. ¥30k would be fine, ¥38k makes it harder to justify when I know I'll get a bigger case sometime hopefully soon enough.

Sigh, wish it were standalone like the DC1.

That sounds so good, and yet I am absolutely not interested because it's not stand alone like the DC1. I really regret selling my DC1. I had way too much gas for a modular system and it just didn't make sense at the time. Oh well, super happy with my current modular setup
