Welcome to the

land of fuzz love, WtrPlyr, drop an introduction in the introduction thread in the general, will You

thumbs up for the Ibanez Standard Fuzz (though it's been in production under different brands and I can't see in the pic what the label says, but You can't mistake when You see the enclosure) it's a sought after beast. How do You like Yours?

J-Fuzz wrote:So how do you like the SS-3? I've seriously considered this as my next Cornish purchase. I mean, the NG-2 is the only one i own, but it's absolutley out there (like the best fuzz I've ever heard). Of course, my second fav is the TAFM, but they are two totally different contraptions. What do you like/dislike about this particular overdrive?
The SS-3 is one of the best drive pedal i have played , at first i thought that i'll not be able to hear any difference my others overdives but after some knob tweaking this pedal is so much reactive and clear...like even if the gain max'd up you could play some complex/open chords and don't loose any definition.
Pete clearly designed for live player , the sustain knob (act as gain) could bring you from a slight tube preamp like crunch (very dynamic) to a big fatty /fuzzy crunch if you turn it to maximum. With the possibility to set the lo cut and the hi cut , it's like you 1000 different sounds coming out of it.
Anyway , freaking awesome pedal , a bit pricey yep...but imo worth it.

That certainly is a trex jr!
There's a guy that mods them to fit..but it's pretty easy with a dremel tool and some rivots

Oh I love

the Klipp trebly clipping sound. Can You have both the fuzz and the Klipp clipping on at the same time? FOr some reason it looks to me like YOu had to choose between them?

I just wish the Faustone Klipp unit had the tone stack, too, but, well I guess You can't have it all for that price, right?
That setup is pretty serious!
